Urdu Digits Converter
Urdu Digits Converter
Convert digits between English, Urdu, Arabic and Devanagari number systems — inside any text, including dates, prices and phone numbers. Digits only; number words (like “one hundred”) are handled by the Number to Urdu Words tool.
Examples: 2026 → ۲۰۲۶ (English to Urdu) · ۲۵ → 25 (Urdu to English) · 0300-1234567 → ۰۳۰۰-۱۲۳۴۵۶۷. Only digits change — letters, spaces and punctuation stay exactly as typed. Your text is never uploaded or saved.
Convert numbers between English, Urdu, Arabic-Indic and Devanagari digits without changing the words around them. The free tool above works instantly in your browser, so a date, phone number, price or address keeps its format and only its digits change. Use it when you need the same number in a different script, whether you are writing in Urdu, reading Hindi, or preparing text for a document or design.

How to Use the Urdu Digits Converter
- Type or paste text containing digits into the box at the top of this page. Mixed text is fine: words, spaces and punctuation are left unchanged.
- Choose the digit system your text is currently in from the “From” menu, and the system you want from the “To” menu.
- Click “Convert Digits”, or simply keep typing — the converted text also updates live as you type or change either menu.
- Read the result in the “Converted text” box. You can edit it there before copying, if a particular number needs adjusting.
- Click “Copy Result” to copy the converted text, or “Clear” to empty both boxes and start again.
If you do not have an Urdu keyboard yet, type your text first with the Online Urdu Keyboard and paste it here. If your draft is in Roman Urdu, convert it first with the Roman Urdu to Urdu Converter, then convert its digits here. To change the script of the words themselves afterwards, use the Urdu to Roman Converter.
The Four Digit Systems Explained
All four systems below represent exactly the same values; only the shapes of the digits differ. That is why conversion is safe for a number itself, while the meaning of the surrounding words stays untouched.
- English digits (0-9): the digits most commonly used in Pakistan for official forms, mobile numbers and prices. Example: 2026.
- Urdu digits (۰-۹): the digits used in Urdu writing. The same glyphs are also used for Persian. Example: ۲۰۲۶.
- Arabic-Indic digits (٠-٩): the digits used in Arabic writing. Example: ٢٠٢٦.
- Devanagari digits (०-९): the digits used in Hindi writing, included here for Hindi and Urdu readers who move between scripts. Example: २०२६.
Converting in either direction works the same way: pick the system shown in your original text as “From”, and the system you want to display as “To”. For example, ۲۵ becomes 25 when converted from Urdu to English, and 2026 becomes ٢٠٢٦ when converted from English to Arabic-Indic.
Where Digit Conversion Matters
- Phone numbers: convert a number such as 0300-1234567 into Urdu digits for an Urdu poster or message, without retyping each digit and risking a mistake.
- CNIC and official numbers: keep hyphens and spacing exactly as they are while changing only the digits, so the number stays readable and in the right order.
- Dates: convert a full date, such as 25-10-2026, in one step; the day, month and year keep their positions and only their digits change.
- Prices: show a price in the script your reader expects, for example in an Urdu shop notice or social post, without changing the amount.
- Addresses and house numbers: match the digits on a sign, form or parcel label to the script used in the rest of the text.
Once your digits are in the right script, you can check the length of the surrounding text with the Urdu Word Counter, turn a short line into an image with the Urdu Name DP Maker, or preview how the result looks in different typefaces with the Live Urdu Font Previews tool.
Honest Limits
- Digits only, words unchanged: the tool changes digit characters in place. It does not turn a word such as “twenty-five” into digits, and it does not spell a number out in words. The Number to Urdu Words tool is for words.
- Mixed text keeps its words: letters, spaces and punctuation stay exactly as typed, so check the surrounding wording yourself after conversion.
- Choose the correct “From” system: if no digits change, the text probably uses a different digit system from the one selected. Try another “From” option.
- Devanagari is included for Hindi/Urdu readers: it converts digit shapes only; it does not translate the text itself.
- Your text stays on your device: conversion runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved by this tool, and closing the page clears the boxes.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Is it free?
Yes. The Urdu Digits Converter is free to use, with no sign-up and no installation. You can convert as many numbers as you need, directly on this page.
Which digit systems are supported?
Four systems are supported in both directions: English digits (0-9), Urdu digits (۰-۹), Arabic-Indic digits (٠-٩) and Devanagari digits (०-९).
Does it change words too?
No. Only digit characters are converted, in place. Words stay exactly as typed, and number words are not changed into digits or spelled out. The Number to Urdu Words tool is for words.
Can I convert a phone number?
Yes. Paste the whole number, including hyphens, and only its digits will change. For example, 0300-1234567 becomes ۰۳۰۰-۱۲۳۴۵۶۷ when converted from English to Urdu.
Can I convert a full date?
Yes. A full date converts in one step because hyphens, slashes and spaces are left unchanged. For example, 25-10-2026 becomes ۲۵-۱۰-۲۰۲۶ in Urdu digits.
Does my text leave my device?
No. Conversion happens in your browser only. Your text is never uploaded to a server or saved by this tool.
Can I copy the result?
Yes. Click “Copy Result” above the converted text, then paste it into a message, document, form or design.
