About Us
UrduFontss.net is a free font library for Urdu, Arabic and English typefaces — built for one simple reason: finding a safe, working Urdu font online used to mean fake download buttons, broken ZIP files and pages you could not trust. Here, every font has its own page with a real preview, honest details and a working download, and the site adds the tools and step-by-step guides you need to actually use the fonts after downloading them.
Our Story
UrduFontss.net was started by Khalid Naeem — known on this site as KG — a WordPress developer and SEO expert based in Pakistan. Working with Urdu content every day, he kept running into the same problem his readers now write about: a designer needs Jameel Noori Nastaleeq for a thumbnail, a student needs a Quranic font for an assignment, a YouTuber needs a clean Naskh for subtitles — and the first ten search results are a maze of misleading buttons and dead links.
So the library was built the other way around: one font per page, one real download button, a preview before you download, and a guide for what to do next. It has grown from Urdu fonts into a wider library — Arabic and Quranic fonts, English display fonts, a live preview tool, InPage converters and text tools — while keeping the same rule it started with: if a page promises a download, the file must actually be there.
Our Mission
- Free access to Urdu typography. Beautiful Urdu writing should not sit behind paywalls or shady download sites. The fonts here are free to download, with the licence note of each font stated honestly on its page.
- Safe downloads, always. Clean ZIP files, one genuine download button per font page, and files checked before publishing — no fake buttons, no bundled junk.
- Preview before you download. Our Live Urdu Font Previews tool lets you type your own text and see it in every font first, so you only install fonts you actually like.
- Help after the download. A font file alone is not enough for a beginner. Our guides cover installing fonts on PC and Android, and using them in apps like PixelLab, CapCut and Canva.
- Respect for font creators. Fonts belong to their designers. We credit the creators and follow each font’s licence terms — see the ownership note below.
What You Will Find Here
- The font library — start with the full Urdu fonts collection, or jump straight to the most loved font on the site, Jameel Noori Nastaleeq. Arabic and Quranic fonts live in the Arabic fonts category.
- Free tools — the Live Urdu Font Previews tool, the Unicode to InPage converter, the InPage to Unicode converter and the Cute Fonts Text Generator.
- Guides and tutorials — installation steps for PC, Android and Mac, app-specific tutorials, and fixes in the common Urdu font problems guide. New tutorials appear on the blog.
Who Runs UrduFontss.net
UrduFontss.net is a small, focused operation — not a big company. It is run by its founder, Khalid Naeem (KG), who looks after the font library, the tools and the guides himself. His background is in WordPress development and search engine optimisation, which is why the site is built the way it is: fast pages, honest metadata, and content written to answer the exact question a visitor searched for. Khalid also runs JameelNoori.com, a sister site dedicated to the Jameel Noori Nastaleeq font family.
You can see the people and roles behind the site on the Our Team page. Questions, font requests and problem reports do not belong on this page — they go through the Contact page, where every message is read by the same small team that runs the site.
Font Ownership and Credits
All fonts available on UrduFontss.net are the property of their respective owners, creators and copyright holders. We share fonts for personal and educational use and always recommend checking the licence note on each font’s page before using it in commercial work. If you are a font designer and would like your font credited differently — or removed — please reach us through the Contact page and we will act on it promptly.
